A driving force in my personal, professional and creative practice is to build value, well-being, resilience and a positive outlook for my community. I teach and facilitate creative workshops for young people in various media. I am General Manager of Operations at the Braidwood Academy of Creative Arts where we deliver creative experience to children and young people in Braidwood. We also organise a Community Choir and a Ukulele Club.

I am deeply involved in local landcare and working to protect and enhance the natural spaces of my home town. I was Chair of Commonwood Farm Inc. from 2020 to 2025 and was instrumental in a sixteen year-long, ongoing project to secure the Braidwood Common for environmental, cultural and creative community activities.
